To minimize swelling, keep your head elevated and use cold compresses. As the incisions heal, you may feel some numbness and itching, which is temporary. Bandages are removed within one to three days and sutures are usually removed within seven to ten days. Your surgeon will advise you on when to resume normal activities.
In some cases, a forehead or brow lift is done together with Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) or facelift to achieve the best results.
